These are the junk removal locations we cover. Calgary is our home market, and requests are also accepted in the cities below. Each location page explains what the local City collects for free, where to drop items off, and when a junk removal company is worth it.
Updated · Facts sourced from official and published sources
Junk removal rules vary a lot across Canada. Toronto, Peel Region and Hamilton collect furniture at the curb for free. Surrey, Burnaby and Coquitlam limit free large item pickups per year. Winnipeg and Oshawa charge for extra pickups. Calgary, Victoria and Saskatoon have no curbside bulky pickup at all. We research each city’s official rules so you know your free options before paying for anything.
How to use these location pages
Start with your city’s free options: many residents can get one or two items collected at no cost, and it makes sense to use that first. Then look at the drop-off section for fees and accepted items. If the job involves stairs, heavy items, more items than the City allows, renovation debris or a tight deadline, send a quote request. An independent local hauler confirms the price before any work starts, and TrueNorth Junk Removal is free for customers.
Your city not listed? We add locations as we research local rules and line up hauling partners. You can still contact us to ask.
